Recently I've been out of touch with the world of professional basketball in Australia but that's because I don't exactly care. I get my latest tidbits from JR, and as of now, am browsing through the Ozhoops Boards.
From what I know, teams are pulling out left, right and centre, and doesn't look like anything big is going to happen with the NBL in terms of actually pulling together a competition.
Mark Worthington has slammed Basketball Australia, calling them 'lazy and slack' and 'mediocre at best'. Read a section, and listen to the interview with him here.
Ending on a good note, one Ozhoops member has created these funny shirts, obviously NBL-themed. One such shirt reads "last team left wins". Damn, that's funny...to me. See it here.
