sound relief!!

Two words: Wow.
I was watching Sound Relief of Channel V (MCG) and Max (SCG) last night, as well as Tweeting at the same time, and must I say, it was FANTASTIC. I saw Wolfmother back together, doing Joker and the Thief, and Andrew Stockdale's 20 minute solo!! I saw Spilt Enz looking as good as they did 20 years ago, and cool set from the Hoodoo Gurus.

Kylie was there.
Um, the Presets rocked the place, though it was bucketing down.
Chris Martin from Coldplay did a run in the crowd with the security on his tail. Haha. http://bit.ly/gHFG5
Speaking of Coldplay, they got together with John Farnham to do "You're the Voice". Woot.

kav (from Eskimo Joe) Katy (from Little Birdy) and Nic Cester (from Jet) all joined Icehouse for a good performance of "great southern land", though one noticed that they didn't actually know the words. Haha. Kav looked hot though. Smoking hot.

I had to choose to watch the final act between either Midnight Oil or Barry Gibb from the BeeGees. Um yeah. Who woulda known??

Well, last night, the #hashtag #soundrelief was No. 1 for a good time, then all of a sudden dropped down...just about when the show ended.

Last but not least, I decided to tune in after 15 minutes of facical jibber-jabber from the V hosts to watch Midnight Oil, and must I say that Peter Garrett is the COOLEST Politician ever. Look up youtube for some of his dance moves. He's still got it!!

All in all, Sound Relief was a great opportunity and a great experience, and the perfect response to the bushfires. Good onya Aussies.
